From the celebrated cookware company GreenPan™, this cutlery set continues the company's legacy of using innovative design and materials that are planet-friendly and make cooking easier. Their Premiere Titanium cutlery starts with recycled steel and FSC-certified walnut handles to minimize environmental impact. Each blade is cryogenically treated then hand sharpened and coated with titanium to deliver tough, long-lasting blades that stay sharper up to two times longer. The durable coating reduces friction for smoother, more precise cuts. This utility knife has serrations in the blade that make it especially useful for cutting foods with firm exteriors and soft interiors – from crusty bread and sausage to citrus fruits and tomatoes.
Titanium bonded coating prevents corrosion and will not peel or chip, reduces friction for smooth, effortless cuts, and keeps knives sharper up to two times longer.
Blade is heat treated to 2,000°F and cryogenically hardened at -185°F for remarkable durability.
Cryogenic hardening removes residual stresses from the blade and improves wear resistance to keep edges sharper longer.
Every knife is hand-sharpened to a precise cutting edge.
Made with recycled stainless steel that delivers power and precision with no compromise in performance.
Flat, die-cast end cap can double as a pestle for crushing garlic and herbs.
A Williams Sonoma exclusive.
5" blade, 4 3/4" handle.
2.54 oz.
Made in China.
Use
Always use caution when handling sharp objects.
Avoid cutting on hard surfaces such as stone, metal or glass.
It is not advisable to use any knife but a meat cleaver to cut through bone or frozen food, as the blade can be easily damaged.
Care
Hand-wash with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse and dry immediately.
Use the honing steel only when you feel the knife has lost some of its original sharpness, usually no sooner than six months after its first use. As you continue to use your knife, it will require more frequent honing. If you need to hone your knife more than once every two weeks, it is time to have it sharpened.
Sharpen your knife at home using a whetstone or knife sharpener, or have it sharpened by a professional.
Store knife in a safe place to protect its edge and prevent injury.
